Bomber AI (Stukas, ILs) ruins singleplayer experience

I'm new here, only two weeks into the game. But this is enough to note that: All ground attack planes / bombers (except escort missions) will not attack ground targets.

 

I also saw on the forums that this error/bug is old. How do Devs never fix something like that on AI? I really want to play as a Stuka, but it's no fun this way... Is it just me attacking the units on the ground while my teammates are flying in circles?

I haven't played a stuka campaign so I can't compare but what do you mean by them not attacking? The latest AI patch is supposed to make the AI drop their bombs and get out, although it's been known for a while that they would target AAA rather than the intended target which is just as frustrating. Devs have said they would look into it but I can't guarantee they will for sure.

I played this week. Here's how it works: If you're the squad leader, your teammates will only attack the AA.

The other units they don't attack, they are flying in circles.

Not to be unfair, sometimes IL-2 decide to attack (I saw this today). But the Stuka don't, they're just flying around in circles while only you attack.

In my Stuka campaign my wingmen attack targets just fine...they don't always hit the target but they attack.

If you're not squad leader they only attack AA as well

Friend, that's not the point. These planes ALWAYS attack AA. But if you're the squad leader, from what I've seen, they only attack AA. Anything that is not AA is not attacked. They will be flying in circles.

I know, I've been bugging the devs about this for the last 2 years. The last AI update seems to have made things worse
