liamw317 Posted October 30, 2021 Posted October 30, 2021 Yes, I've read the manual, follow every steps, thing works fine, but there are few small thing that I think it's not normal and need some clarification. 1/ I selected all planes I owned, all planes, but in the new campaign, and pilots included my pilot, only use Yak-1, there is no other type of planes, and I have no idea how to change it. Everytime I generate a mission, the plane for that mission always Yak-1. 2/ In main menu of PWCG, after create the new campaign, I go to Mission>Mission>Next:Map>Next:WayPoint>Next:Pilots>Next:Accept Mission. PWCG start generate the mission. After finish generated, it back to the main menu of the Campaign. Then, how do I skip the day to the next day so I can see the results of those mission? I watch the gameplay about Flying Circus PWCG and there is a map with many activities showing there day by day like who go where, who got killed, etc... But I have no idea how to do it in PWCG BOS
Stonehouse Posted November 1, 2021 Posted November 1, 2021 So when you create a campaign you see a screen like this eventually. The first 3 indicated settings alter what you will see in the final drop down box which displays a list of squadrons that are available that match the air force you chose, on the map/s chosen, at that period of time, in the role chosen. Here you can see that the 11th Fighter Regiment gets Lagg3s to start with (they get different planes as time progresses and newer aircraft types become available). If I had chosen say the 126th Fighter regiment then I would get P40s. If I chose a later time period or a different air force then the list of squadrons would likely change as well as the aircraft available. Basically you need to spend some time playing with these settings to end up with the aircraft you feel like flying. eg If I had chosen Luftwaffe then I would see German squadrons and aircraft. If I picked a bomber role for the Luftwaffe then I would see units which flew He111s, Ju88s or Ju87s etc.
PatrickAWlson Posted November 1, 2021 Posted November 1, 2021 There are three ways to advance time. The usual is to generate a mission, fly it, and submit a combat report. To submit a combat report: Campaign->Mission->Combat Report Follow the steps. Make sure that you claim any air victories otherwise you will not be credited. Claims are not required for ground victories Taking leave will also advance time. Campaign->Activities->Leave Transferring will also take some time Campaign->Activities->Transfer If you have flown a mission but have not submitted a combat report, do not take leave or transfer as you will no longer be able to submit the combat report.
