JG27_Steini Posted October 29, 2021 Posted October 29, 2021 (edited) Hello all, i have often the problem that i only can turn my head. All other motions are blocked. I am sure that often enough i have full 6 DOF and watch my whole cockpit very closely and can move in any direction. Do you have any ideas? I use a HP reverb G2. Thank you very much. Charlo-VRde Posted October 29, 2021 Posted October 29, 2021 In my experience with my G2, because it uses WMR I always make sure to move the headset around once it is recognized by WMR, then launch IL-2. That ensures WMR has detected it in 3DOF. Also, since the G2 has inside-out tracking, having sufficient lighting in your gaming space makes a big difference in tracking, too

I also set an LED lamp between my keyboard and monitor base to help the HMD "see" better. Edited October 29, 2021 by Dagwoodyt
[CPT]Crunch Posted October 30, 2021 Posted October 30, 2021 You get stuck in 3 degree's of motion when you have insufficient room lighting, hence your missing the other three axis of motion. Try boosting the lighting in the room, common with most WMR HMD's.
