Clouds ?! They are beautiful ans more realistic, thanks for all the work! if we fly in some are going to get the effects of clouds also?! (shaking, etc) Great work in any case!

Great DD, although at this point i'm convinced Jason is doing this to spite me. All I'm asking for are some Me 410 pics, but he only shows us Ju 88 and Ar 234 ?

Some of my obscure logic...as you appear to get everything you don't ask for and nothing of what you relentlessly ask for;

 

Try and avoid talking about the 410 for a week and see what happens. This may be anything from extreamly difficult to painfully impossible, but it might work

Welcome Vasily!.. looking forward to seeing more of your great work!  The Arados looks awesome!!!  Great work on the Ju52, thanks Martin!.. and very much appreciate the template!  You guys are killing us with the clouds.... soon please hahaha!  Thought I would add a bit of humor, appreciate the efforts of the entire Team on this great flightsim!  My only request... lets take it to the Pacific!!!

The example cloud pictures seem to be a single layer, so maybe the delay is to get cloud shadows on lower clouds and other lighting effects right? Let's hope this doesn't hit frame-rates.

I'm really looking forward to the new clouds because multi-layered clouds is often the norm here on the Western Front. But more importantly, I think it will significantly change gameplay, firstly by making it harder to track lower aircraft and more importantly, introducing a slightly more random element that will favour flyers cooperating in flights over single zoom n' boomers. In real war, numbers are the dominant factor, particularly local superiority.

I hope the devs get the change in cloud type correct with altitude. The current two-layer cloud option looks completely wrong with similar clouds at two different altitudes. This doesn't happen in the real world. Even the link above shows clouds that would never be together in the same atmospheric conditions.

Here's hoping that the new clouds and maybe realistic radar in the future will make the Mossie comparatively viable on the better df servers.

Those clouds are looking gorgeous! Can't wait to fly another cutting-edge bird too. Soon we'll be able to recreate the crazy scenarios we made in IL2 1946 with these late war planes in full HD.

AR-234 looks wonderful, hopefully one day we might get a version with armament...any guns welcome. With a 410 coming at some time, I'm VERY happy

Okay I understand they're WIP clouds but they look fuzzy and out of focus at this stage of their development. I hope the finished product will be sharper at a distance (similar to Jason's art work) and become fuzzier as you get closer. If that can be done? Send in the clouds. There ought to be clouds .... well, maybe next year ....

Don't know what Australian clouds look like, but the ones I'm looking at through my window now look mostly fuzzy and soft edged.

 

Some cumulus is looking a little more defined and solid, but most aren't.

   Depends on the weather. Sometimes they’re soft and scattered and some are hard edged and thick. And sometimes both. 
There is pretty much an unlimited amount of ways the clouds can look.
