Adjust amount of wingmen?

Hi all.

 

Just wondering if there is a way to adjust with amount of wingmen you have during a mission. Playing some Ju-52 careers and it always pairs me with another Ju-52 who flies so incredibly slow. Would rather just be up by myself in a Ju-52 since i don't really need a 'wingman' and have my escorts.

Yep, from the screen that lists the pilots, just click on the wingman you want to remove. You can also add wingmen from the pilot list at the bottom.

Other things that you can do on that page:

Change aircraft

- Click on an assigned aircraft.  A dropdown appears allowing you to choose a different aircraft from the squadron inventory.

 

Change payload.

- Click on the payload.   A dropdown appears allowing you to choose a different payload for that aircraft.

 

Add modifications if any are available.

- Many in game modifications are considered "stock" and added automatically. 

- Optional modifications are selectable.

 

Change the pilot order

- Click on the radio button next to an assigned pilot

- Use the mouse wheel to move the pilot up or down in the formation.

- Very useful for those who either always or never want to be flight lead.

 

Pressing "Synchronize payload" makes all other planes get the same payload and modifications as the flight leader.  This way you can edit the flight leader, press synchronize, and then the whole flight will be armed the same way.  Caveat: if you are flying a mix of planes, synch only works on pilots flying the same type.
