FC Vol II on Steam

Any idea when Flying Circus Vol II will be available on steam. I prefer to purchase via site before anyone says it, but I already purchased FC vol I on the site and installed it. I built a new PC and tried to install it, and the download speed was 80 to 100kbs. I tried multiple times to download, but it was hours and it failed multiple times having to restart. Purchased the steam version and problem solved. I now have purchased it twice and don't wish to spend the $ and not be able to download it.

Not for a while, I guess.

If things go as they always did, you will be able to buy the game on Steam shortly (up to 14 days) after the final release on the IL-2 store page.

Hi Casper - Just being sure that you are aware that if you link your Steam account, you can purchase on the IL-2 Website but still run everything through Steam - see B below (you can find more linking info in the forums).  I believe the only requirement is that you have the Steam version of the original BoS (which I assume you do since you said you are running on FC on Steam?).  I run everything through Steam, including FCII.  Good luck!

Were you able to download FCII through steam. That is my biggest issue. How big is the FCII download? anyone know?

Yes, once you link the accounts, everything is downloaded and run through Steam (at least that's how I run it, other than the original BoS purchased on Steam, made all of my purchases through the IL-2 website).

As I understand it, you already have it.  All of the IL-2 GB content is contained in the current download.  The purchase simply unlocks the license to access that portion of the download that is already on your hard drive.

So I also need a clear answer here: I have "IL-2 Sturmovik: Battle of Stalingrad" with a lot of Planes and campaigns bought on Steam but can buy things on your site as long as I connected my user here with my Steam account and they will be available in my IL-2 Stem version?

Hi Vangel - The short answer is yes.

The longer answer is that the "Founder" tag simply means that I pre-ordered before the original "IL-2 Sturmovik: Battle of Stalingrad" was released and am just a customer like you - so realize when you say "your site," I don't speak for the Devs.  As a customer, it works fine for me exactly as you describe.  The only thing I have ever purchased on Steam was the original BoS module (like you).  I have since purchased my IL-2 GBs products (I own all of them, including collector items, and campaigns) on the IL-2 website.  So, to be clear, I have only ever run IL-2 on Steam and have access to all of my IL-2 Website purchases there (including BoN and FCII early access released a/c) because my accounts are linked.  I hope that helps :)
