Problem starting game

I bought this game yesterday on Steam. Everything worked fine but the game was running in a window. I went to the graphics settings, checked full screen, vsync, and set the resolution to the monitor native of 1920 x 1080. Now when I start the game the monitor goes black and continually reboots. I can hear the game music playing but no video. I tried to uninstall and re install the game, same issue. Any help would be most welcome. Thanks.

Following CHAP 1958, I hope he won't mind, I'm taking advantage of his post to add my own which seems to be in the same spirit.

I had to uninstall and reinstall my game because it was not working anymore:
- I had to uninstall and reinstall my game because it was not working anymore: - for some time the game was launching but nothing was appearing on my screen.
- the launch shortcut on my desktop suddenly disappeared
I had made updates and they were made after the reinstallation.
Now that I have completely uninstalled and reinstalled the game it has only started correctly once.
Since then it has been systematic, it launches and nothing appears on my screen.

It's stupid to have paid for a game that doesn't seem to work for me anymore.

I'm not sure how to get any help, but if anyone has a solution I'd love to read it.

Are you starting the game from the launcher or from the /bin/game IL2.exe? The last way is the preferred way, using the launcher only for updating.

Yes, I concur with these methods of updating and launching the game.
