No AQMB for FC :(

Hi, see this (AQMB isnt planned for FC Arras map, reply of Jason):

Pity, I see its a very nice tool but no AQMB for Arras map. I hope they change this decision.

IIRC, they're going to be expanding the Arras map and adding the Verdun/Metz map for Vol. II. I imagine he means that they wont add the AQMB until those maps are finished.

Yes thats true but I don't expect a new map until the second half of next year so its a still lot of the time. I was a little surprised that there is no AQMB for FC right now, it would be a breeze for those who fly offline.

Yes I know this very well (and use it)  but I was thinking about official generator also.

Yes, it will be great to have it in the game itself!

Its a pity that FC1 isn't supported in AQMB.  Maybe this time next year assuming they also have FC2.

It's very map dependent and I understand Jason's reluctance to spend resources building AQMB for the current Arras map when a bigger/better Arras sector map is coming together with the Verdun sector map.

 

 

It does mean waiting a bit longer but I'm excited about the upgrades, the added seasons, etc and getting AQMB on both of those maps sometime in the next several months.

 

Hopefully we'll see one of these maps drop sooner than later but I know maps take time to develop.

I actually assumed that, while Arras map wouldn't be available, we would still be able to use other maps with WW1 aircraft. Like QMB can. Silly me.

AQMB re-uses WW2 assets that were never build for FC. Once we have WW1 career mode i suspect it will be used for AQMB.
