What a joy to see the forums so alive! I have been using reddit for the normal info feed recently, but hot damn there’s no such thing as a normal conversation in there. Fantastic people here sharing advice, tactics etc, and I’m happy to see we are still arguing about 50 cals. (Used to be a thing in the old IL2 days.)

 

I recently installed the Great Battles and it has been a bit of a pain to be back to speed. I used to fly a lot on the FSNS Squadron back in the day, and now I feel like a grandpa trying to fight in these planes. 
 

Anyways, I am glad to see forums as a thing are not dead and all the helpful people here are doing a fantastic job!

At the moment I think I’ll just buy the Junkers and fly some paratroopers back and forth on the Finnish server, to try to learn again all the ins and outs of online flying, set up the rest of the controls, learn to navigate and use the track ir. I am having a blast just flying a traffic pattern in a Heinkel in singleplayer, some day I’ll graduate and try to fly the supplies in mp, but I don’t want to embarrass myself just yet.
