No idea what is going on with client downloader 250/26gb

I bought the game today from the store, got to download and then install, it got to the 28gb mark and kept on going, then 100, 200, all the way up to 250gb when I closed the launcher, tried again and same issue, tried again as admin, same problem.

 

Not quite sure whats going on and i can't find any answer to whats the tipical folder size for a clean setup

 

hoping to get a fix or money back and buy it in steam

@cuchosnp, if you are connected to the Internet via wifi, try not to run applications using the Internet at the same time or connect your computer with a wire to the router.

Having the same issue, I cannot install the client. Here is my log file, towards the end it shows a map error and tries to download and unpack over and over again.

Seems like it's not just me, got it to work after unstalling everything il2 related, restarted the pc, downloaded the launcher again and ran it with admin privileges and with windows 8 compatibility mode, hope that works for you guys!
