Still work to be done?

Well I have to say after over a year of deliberating whether to get Flying Circus or not I am a bit disappointed ?

One map no missions and no career has left this wanting in my view compared to ROF.

The scripted campaigns look fine but sadly limited.

I purchased volumes 1 and 2 and for the £72.00 I shelled out I have to say find the value somewhat wanting.

The graphics and model rendering are beautiful but considering I already own ROF didn't think it was worth it.

Also, and I stand prepared to be torn apart by you perfect pilots out there ?, can someone produce a landing tutorial for the Fokker DRI and Sopwith Camel please!!

The DRI is a nightmare and the Camel seems to have a mind of its own using the blip switch??

All constructive criticism and hope I've not offended anyone with my findings.

Your comments and suggestions always welcome.

AFAIK there's a career mode planned for Vol. 2 - and Requiem's videos (like the one Talbot linked for the Dr.I) are great for landing "tutorials"!

The best way to learn how to fly these planes is with a mentor. Hope on a multiplayer server and get in voice chat. Everyone will help you out. You'll also met some great people. After this you'll be hooked.

There is many events throughout the year. Most squads have been together for many years. It makes the game very enjoyable.

The devs should have waited until the new Pilot Career mode was pretty much all tickety boo before starting development of FC1, not in 2017 when the Pilot Career was fresh out of the oven and thus could not be added to FC1. They should have started development of FC1 after Bodenplatte was fully released or they should have lowered its price to $50 US or given us more planes -- and more two-seaters -- to make the $70-80 price tag actually worth it.

Cheers.

Instead of a laughing emoji I'll..

Actually I can't be bothered

Only thing I'd say is, that if you've been deliberating for over a year.. you should have been fully aware of what you were buying.

Good news is there's more stuff coming..

I mean, if you already own RoF and you already didn't think it was worth it; it sounds like you more or less set yourself up for disappointment.

Never mind the updated textures and graphics, updated DMs, or any of the tweaking to FMs the team did to the planes (for better or worse).

But career mode is on the way, more planes are on their way, and who knows what other features the devs will decide to throw in with the updates. It honestly makes me a little excited.

There is a career coming at some point.

In term of what you get , it is not that different to the rest of the BOX modules. A map and a few AC.

IMO, FC and PWCG plus MP does what I need it to.

I was a long time RoF flyer, but I prefer FC these days.
