Odovacer Posted October 21, 2021 Posted October 21, 2021 (edited) Good Day, not sure if this is the place for this, but after flying my second mission (consecutively) of a new campaign, PWCG did not pick up the mission data for whatever reason so there was no After Action Report to review in the Campaign. No data was recorded. Sucks because I had five kills. I've used PWCG for RoF in the past, so I am familiar, but a bit rusty. PWCG files were the latest from Pat's site (13.3.0), installed yesterday without issues and the first mission was generated and reported without any problems. Just back flying again after a looong hiatus and was hoping to get a Campaign going for Flying Circus. Hope this is an easy fix. Many thanks. Rob H. PatrickAWlson Posted October 21, 2021 Posted October 21, 2021 Did you do an AAR for the prior mission? The sequence always has to be generate mission, fly mission, perform AAR.
Odovacer Posted October 21, 2021 Author Posted October 21, 2021 Hi Pat, thanks for getting back. Yes, I did an AAR for Mission #1. Even did a comment in the journal (after the AAR) and all worked as it should. My kills and that of an NPC squadron mate were accounted for, the mission details were accurate, serial number for a downed squadron aircraft also accounted for. Next day I generated Mission #2 as per Mission #1. Two things though: in the IL-2 Mission list under PWCG Missions, two missions were listed: #1 and #2, i.e. Mission #1 was not deleted. I DID play #2 for sure. Second, I did have to play Mission #2 more than once (crashes, what have you) though I did that for Mission #1 as well and just used Restart Mission. That's about the only thing I can think of. Oh and time compression was used in Mission #2, not sure if I did so or not for Mission #1. If you can tell me that Mission #2 can't be salvaged from the error report, I will play Mission #2 again and see what happens. Oh, one more point. I could not officially complete either mission. I could not get the waypoints to advance neither with me reaching them or trying to entice the squadron leader to do it. So, technically, both completed missions were "failures".
Odovacer Posted October 23, 2021 Author Posted October 23, 2021 OK, went back in and I was able to get the AAR. Not sure why, but I'm going with pilot error! Like I said, rusty. Thanks for the time and attention. Happy flying.
PatrickAWlson Posted October 23, 2021 Posted October 23, 2021 Glad you got it resolved. I have been eyeballs deep in internationalization with no time for anything else ... except for a foray into gradle building made necessary by the fact that my existing process got crushed for reasons that I still do not understand.
