In my scripted campaign I use the two new playable collector vehicles.

In the campaign info file you have to list the collector planes like:

 

&planes=luascripts/worldobjects/planes/ju523mg4e.txt,
luascripts/worldobjects/planes/p40e1.txt,

luascripts/worldobjects/planes/la5s8.txt,
luascripts/worldobjects/planes/la5fns2.txt,

etc.

 

do I need to add to this list the two collector vehicles?

The player will not drive them but they are active in the game.

I think these are used by the game to determine if a player is able to run the module, so if it says you need the Ju-52, for example, and a player hasn't bought that collector plane, it will show the campaign as locked. At least, that's what it's supposed to do, I'm not sure if it actually locks user-made campaigns.
