Pietman Posted October 20, 2021 Posted October 20, 2021 I've seen many videos and screenshots where people have populated airfields with aircraft of different types. How is this accomplished? I expect it is done via Mission Editor, but the one time I attempted to use it I ended up with a single aircraft on a completely barren landscape. Any advice is appreciated.
J99_Sizzlorr Posted October 20, 2021 Posted October 20, 2021 Hi Pietman, you can populate the airfield with AI planes. The caviat is that they will be taxing on the server resources in multiplayer, because we have no static planes for Flying Circus. In the ww2 modules of GB there are static planes to populate the airfield with. Static planes have no AI so they don't need any resources from the server.
Pietman Posted October 21, 2021 Author Posted October 21, 2021 Hello J99_Sizzlorr, Thank you for the reply. I tend to play single player so hopefully there would be no issues using AI. Is there a tutorial somewhere on how to accomplish this?
=IRFC=kotori87 Posted October 21, 2021 Posted October 21, 2021 In many of the videos, all of the planes at the airfield are players preparing for takeoff or repairing after a flight. Hop on the Flugpark on Thursday evenings or Sunday afternoons and the airfields will be very busy.

Are there any plans to add static aircraft for either FC1 or 2 in the future?
