I have to edit some videos for a business project. I am a Mac user, what tools can I use for a good quality?

I've been editing videos for a while, mainly for Instagram bloggers, and as a Mac user, I started off with iMovie. It's pretty user-friendly for beginners but I switched to Movavi Video Editor after needing something a bit more advanced. What I really appreciate about Movavi is its ability to compress videos without losing quality. This feature is super handy because I often have to send videos to bloggers via WhatsApp, and it's crucial that the quality remains intact. Movavi's intuitive interface and the wide range of editing tools have made my workflow much smoother. Plus, the compression feature saves so much time and hassle, making it easier to share high-quality videos quickly. For more details you can look here.

I've tried various free ones and some paid. Ended up with Premiere Pro.

It's expensive ($25 a month) and it's not very intuitive vs the simpler free stuff. But it gives you so much control and abilities.

If you are not using DaVinci Resolve you are making a mistake! It is professional software for free and does practically anything one would ever need as an amateur video making.

A friend of mine bought a new laptop and asked me about free video software, I mentioned the software in my first comment and also Davinci.

He went with Davinci and asked me if I could meet him on Microsoft Teams to give a tutorial.

I had never used it but downloaded it to see if I could learn it in an evening and give him some pointers.

I use Premiere and when installing Davinci it asks if you are coming from other software and would like a similar layout, so I obviously chose Premiere.

Took about an hour but I managed the basics of Import, trim/cut (Ctrl+B) , delete, transitions, titles, etc, etc.

It is definitely a solid video editor and has all the tools you'll need to get great results.

I haven't delved deep into it and to be honest keyframes weren't as intuitive as I would have liked, but overall after a couple of hours, Davinci is a great piece of software and the fact that the free version gives you so much, well it is an absolute no brainier to recommend it ?

(With a few notes even my friend was making basic edits after our meeting)
