I just had a 13Gb download after a 4 month absence

i cannot access my purchased maps. How do I go about it?

Steam/non-steam? On steam go to the library, right click game tile, select properties, select local files, press "verify integrity of game file". If there are any missing or corrupt it will automatically redownload them IIRC  

 

Alternately, if you get major problems after an absence, uninstall completely, delete all related folders and re-install from scratch. On steam this works every well due to very rapid download (at least for me) - cannot vouch for the installer.
