When devs review bug report, alter thread title to add tags like “reviewing” “need tracks”

Either in bug reports section or in the complaints section, if someone posts an issue and a dev reviews it, add a tag to let community members know quickly that a topic is being reviewed. “Investigating”; “bug confirmed, addressing” ; “need track” ; “need more info” ; or “correct as is” are a few examples of tags to let us know you’ve looked at a topic

This suggestion is entirely doable.

 

The IL-2 boards are constructed from Invision Community, just like JG1's forum: https://forum.jg1.org/

 

All the Devs would need to do is tag a thread when they see it.  Tagging is something that we (as regular forum members) are restricted from doing.  But they can give themselves, moderators, or admins the ability.

They're right at the top: jg1, flanders in flames, awards

 

Those tags are clickable.  When a dev, or anyone, clicks them, you get all of the other topics tagged the same way.

 

If they had set tags for specific things, it would work.  For example:

• Investigating
• Fixed
• No Bug
• Reported
• Requested
• Resolved

On the first pass, give it a tag.  Hopefully, after some traction within the game on the second pass, revise the tag if necessary.
