rafib Posted October 12, 2021 Posted October 12, 2021 For some reason I get shaded aircraft and only if I restart the game the error disappears. Can you please show me how to fix it? Many thanks.
zzzxxxxzzz Posted October 12, 2021 Posted October 12, 2021 Try deleting the cache folder in: Documents/1C SoftClub/il-2 sturmovik cliffs of dover/ 1
rafib Posted October 12, 2021 Author Posted October 12, 2021 Thanks, I renamed it to see if it has impact.
rafib Posted October 15, 2021 Author Posted October 15, 2021 Unfortunately, the cache folder deletion does not resolve the problem. Do you have another idea? Thank you
LLv34_Flanker Posted October 15, 2021 Posted October 15, 2021 (edited) S! Must be a setting on your graphics card or in game. Best is to NOT force any settings thru the GPU control panel but let the game control them. I run an AMD card and all settings are pretty much Application controlled except I use 30% of sharpening on the control panel. In-game settings are also mostly default, just make sure you disalbe Anti-epilepsy filter in the graphics options. Edited October 15, 2021 by LLv34_Flanker
Ceaser87 Posted October 15, 2021 Posted October 15, 2021 This bug can appear when you, for example, open up the FMB immediately after launching the game. You should be able to circumnavigate it by always launching a quick mission after starting up the game.
danperin Posted October 15, 2021 Posted October 15, 2021 (edited) A solution for this is to open any Quickmission, wait a couple of seconds for everything to load (visual related), then you can ESC, load missions, go online or open the FMB without this issue. It is related to the cache system i believe and a clean cache is the key, but sometimes just doing this to solve that bug. Edited October 17, 2021 by danperin
rafib Posted October 16, 2021 Author Posted October 16, 2021 Your help is most appreciated and corresponds well to my immediate opening of the FMB. Thank you very much 2
