Makhno25 Posted October 5, 2021 Posted October 5, 2021 (edited) Hi everyone, I play Sturmovik GB (high settings) at 1920x1080 with a core i5 3330 with 16 gb of RAM and a gtx 1660. My gaming experience is fairly good but sometimes (for example in the more crowded missions of Steel Birds) the game stutter - and FPS drop from 90-120 to 40. Do you think that if i buying a 10105f (plus MB and RAM, of course) I would notice some improvements and reduce stuttering? Cheers Marco Edited October 5, 2021 by Makhno25
Sokol1 Posted October 5, 2021 Posted October 5, 2021 Since you need a new motherboard (and memory) - i5-3333 is FCLGA1155; get at least an i5-10400F or i5-11400F, for 10400F can get a H510 motherboard, more cheap, but 11400 require a better motherboard, so get a B560 with strong VRM. Just in case check your local prices for Ryzen 5600X, probable the best cost/benefity gaming CPU.

Since you play in 1920x1080, your GTX 1660 is more than enough. So, as said above, the solution is to upgrade Mobo+CPU+RAM.

Thanks for the answer, I have already oriented myself towards: mb msi b460m pro-vdh, crucial ballistix 16 gb and i3 10105f. I'll tell you how they work. That´s a good performance/cost CPU. For the RAM try to get the highest speed model for your budget. And let us know how it goes by running the benchmark, I am curious to know how well this little baby run the SYN_VANDER benchmark just for CPU test.

I should have it all next week. I will let you know. Cheers Marco
