I've now my inscription to this forum.
There's more than 10 years ago, I flew on IL2, but I've stopped for my professionnal life.
Sorry for my approximative english, I'm belgian and my mother language is french.

During more than 10 years I'm one of the responsible of Chièvres Air base Museum (www.mibac.be) When Cliff of Dover appears, I've related that the Chièvres airbase was used by Italian for bomber raids over Great Britain.

Since all these years, i'm working to find informations, photos, papers about this base built by germans in 1940, used by Italians during 1940-1941 and re-used by german between 1941 and 1944.
In 1944 this base became A-44 and used by american forces till 1946.

I found an amazing image of Chièvres, is this one taken off the simulator?
Do you have more informations or documents about this base?
