carosel43 Posted October 5, 2021 Posted October 5, 2021 I am looking upgrade my 1070 and have been pondering which way to go. Has anyone tried any of the AMD RX6000 series cards? they are more available and a slightly better price than Nvidia. A 6700xt would suit me i think but not if the drivers are rubbish and the game runs poorly.

I will point out that I did use to use third party drivers (Omega Drivers) on some of the earlier AMD cards. I think you would be happy with the RX6000 series and they certainty seem to give excellent bang for the buck.
carosel43 Posted October 5, 2021 Posted October 5, 2021 Yea the performance looks good but i cant find anyone who has used one in il2. My sim rig is set up for il2 and FS2020, it has no other jobs but the 1070 is not man enough for the job on an ultrawide. I need to double fps in both games ideally
