SR-F_Winger Posted October 1, 2021 Posted October 1, 2021 Hey guys. I am sure this is a simple fix and I am just too dumb/old to get it. Everytime when I lift my Reverb G2 in oder to do whatever and put it back on the blue bar saying "Press Windows+Y to use Desktop instead of VR" appears. Problem is that when i switch back to IL2 my mouse wont react anymore and all i can do is restart the sim wich can be quite annoying. Anyone help? Thanks Winger
102nd-YU-cmirko Posted October 1, 2021 Posted October 1, 2021 in your startup.cfg, set the game window size to be smaller than your full screen native resolution - this helps in my case... full_height = 1080 full_width = 1920 win_height = 1080 win_width = 1920 1

Its set to 1024x768 to save performance for in HMD-Rendering. But ill doublecheck the startup.cfg Thank you! Edited October 1, 2021 by Winger
no_brain Posted October 1, 2021 Posted October 1, 2021 (edited) You can stop the headset from switching mouse modes when you remove/put on the headset with this option in the "Headset Display" settings page. I know that sometimes the game loads up without the game window being focused (focuses on the simshaker program window instead) and I have to alt-tab to select the game window before the cursor will show up. See if that does the trick. Edited October 1, 2021 by minivan 1
Drum Posted October 1, 2021 Posted October 1, 2021 Or just left click the IL-2 window again and leave the mouse pointer inside that window as you mount your helmet again.
