Any projects on the go, or screen shots of other game titles you like?

Hello all :),

Here are some of the games I like and of course Battle of Starlingrad is in this list. At the moment I'm hunting for some older screen shots of a free game called Diaspora: Shattered Armistice. If I find the sreenies I'll post them here, (I have a couple of Vipers with camo skins I made in game). At the moment in Arma 3, I started making a multiplayer, multi missions, team Altis scenario. That has been a part/part time project, as some of the scripting has given me the #its a bit, and time is spread thin.

Any way, check it out !S

Nice!  It's always really interesting to see what people are tinkering with.  The good thing about many of these titles is they leave a lot of room for creativity beyond the normal gameplay.  Sometimes I find I spend more time making things than I do actually playing.

Here's a bunch of shots of stuff I've been up to this year.  Finished a map of the Rabaul area as it appeared in early 1944, with most of its installations flattened by USAAF bombardment.  Spent several years on it and managed to get every road in it's correct position.  Bomb craters etc are placed with reference to recon photos of the time too.  Also spent an inordinate amount of time texturing the airfields for that blend of devastation and decay.

Also working on a map of Malta with an aim to get the layout as authentic to it's 1942 appearance as possible.  Very early days yet though!

In addition to that, I'm re-doing the voice samples for Clod too.  If anyone else has got any shots of things they've got on the go it'd be nice to see them.

Yep, for sure. The best games seem to always give the players a toolbox to play with, its what makes great titles legends.

Hey, great work there Feathered, very impressive :good:

That's funny, you keep on saying Starlingrad. In your comment and also in the videos of your link.

I know exactly what you mean. Mapmaking is rather time consuming. I'm sure I spent more time in populating and texturing  than flying around and dogfighting.

Malta looks promising already. Why not posting some of those screenies -in higher resolution if possible- on the 'other site'.

Are they 1024 or 2048 size textures by the way?
