Ace of Aces - Now open to Ironman Career Mode

Greetings SP pilots,

 

Let's see if we can get these remaining rewards out to the community by broadening the pool of challengers.  See the original post linked below with how to enter.  The following rewards are still awaiting their virtual Aces:

 

-Spit V (Beurling - 32)

-Hurricane (Johnson - 39)

-BoK Premium (Bong - 41)

-BoBp Premium (Kozhedub - 67)

-GB title of Ace's Choice (Hartmann - 353)

*I will also add a "Steel Birds" (or any Scripted Campaign of your choice) to our very first Ironman Career Mode virtual Ace of Aces.

So this is iron man mode which is i gather dead is dead in stock career mode of your choice and we are flying in expert mode?

 

I am new to this, I have to kick my post scriptum addiction, I have leant to take off but that's as far as I have got ?

Hi @IISG2_Wotan - You are correct about Ironman being "Dead is Dead" for the stock career mode.  However, as long as you aren't playing with unlimited ammo or indestructible selected, I think you are playing in the spirit of the contest, so it doesn't have to be expert mode.  For example, there are a lot of folks in SP who play with Icons on - which I don't think is cheating since most of us are just "a bit" older than the IRL aces (plus, they mostly had amazing vision for their age too). 

 

Check out the original post thread, a lot of this was discussed when the PWCG challenge started.  Bottom line, it would be great to have you aboard.  So if you want to enter, just hop over there and post which of the remaining aces you would like to challenge.  Anyone who enters is also automatically in the Hartmann challenge too.
