Map updating delayed since update

Since the update, I am having issues with the map updating my location. For example, in WoL, if I am actively looking at the map, it updates fine at its normal interval. However, if I am in, for example, grid 1419, and close the map then fly for a few minutes…when I open the map it still shows me in grid 1419 for like 15-20 seconds before finally updating to several grids away. This never happened prior to the update. Any ideas?
