VR fps drop after update?

Hi, after this update I have been experiencing low fps on vr. Previously I was holding 79-80 frames solid on balanced settings on a QM 4v4 dogfight. Now frames drop to 30s when I fly through the skirmish.  Especially when the enemy opens fire. I tried lowering all my settings down and still fps takes a hit. This sucks because I spent so long getting it finally stable. Is anyone experiencing any fps issues after update?

There were several people mentioning an fps drops after the update. It was related to steam. If it's related to the issue you're having and you are using steam, try validating the game files twice.

I don't have my game or account connected to Steam. And am still experiencing stutters and FPS drops, definitely more than before the patch (I always test on the same map and with same number of planes). And I am not a VR user.

Yes it's more when the enemy begins to shoot for me. 

 

I'm going to try validating my game files twice as mentioned above.  I'm also going to try to play on the standalone to see if that does anything.  I doubt it but worth a try. 

 

Devs please do what you can. Thank you.

Everything was working just fine. The I get back from trip and latest update causes so  much stuttering I get carsick!! Not Running on Steam. Just as bad on MP.

 UPDATE : I detected that my NVIDIA card was being bypassed.!!! I was away on vacation and perhaps system hiccuped after latent period? When I went to check GPU it said NVIDIA was not present!! Opened up PC checked card placement and problem solved.
