Beginner question

Hi all,

 

I am new to CoD, and I am trying to find a game mode that will easily allow me to familiarize myself with a specific aircraft. Ideally like a free flight, but with take off and landing. None of the quick missions seem to accommodate for this, how do I make this work?

Cross-country quick mission let you take off from London. You can change the aircraft before start by double-clicking on it
