Has the new Oculus link update made a significant difference?

Not had the time to put any hours in recently, but it seems like there's lots of positive feedback to the update a few days ago that added sharpening to oculus link.

 

Has it made a positive impact for anyone here with IL2?

Not sure. Since I did the update, my quest2 no longer connects to the pc. Been trying different things. Nothing is fixing it.

I played with the new version 33 update today and must say it has made a very noticeable improvement in the  sharpness of the q2. Spotting distant aircraft is possible at much further distance and overall visuals are much better. Text and gauges were fine before but are even clearer now. The q2 was already good but it is markedly better now. I saw no appreciable impact on performance using Link. Anyone with a q2 will want to get this update ASAP. It is enabled in the Oculus diagnostic tool.  
 

I’ve seen some reviews that say the update places the q2 close to Reverb G2 in terms of clarity. 
Certainly can’t complain about such an improvement at no cost!!

updated today. I have only been able to test the main screen and it is impressive how good it looks, what a joy.
