FTC_Zero Posted September 16, 2021 Posted September 16, 2021 I did not realize that before, but after flying out the G6 followed by the new G6\late, I realized that they completely different engine sounds in the cockpit. It appears newer made G14 and K4 share the same sound effects. But dont the G2\G4\G6 and G6\late share the same engine? Just wonder of older models will receive some update in the future. The new engine sound are not bad at all IMO.
Guest deleted@134347 Posted September 17, 2021 Posted September 17, 2021 I personally prefer the E7 and F4's cockpit engine sounds. Mostly because they have a very deep low end bass and some interesting metallic overtones. Coupled with the bass shakers both of them sound like a proper old school metal bird.
6./ZG26_Klaus_Mann Posted September 18, 2021 Posted September 18, 2021 What Powersettings? The late Models have far more boost.

G6 and G6/late just have MW50 addon, but the same engine same as for the G14. K4 might be another story. Overall the sound is very different in all power settings. G6 sounds more like a drilling machine, while the G6/ late and later models more like a lawnmower. On 9/17/2021 at 7:32 PM, 30speed said: I personally prefer the E7 and F4's cockpit engine sounds. Hmm, you have a good point. My headphones are not so good in low frequencies. Newer sounds feel more rich in med high spec, but as I mentioned a post before some kinda lawn mover overlay. Kanda like it, i dont know if it is realistic or not, but is might be a turn off for sure.
