Floating over the ocean?

I need help. I created a simple mission intercepting enemy aircraft.  I selected x4 spitfire xiv and x4 emeny fw 190s. 

 

I have created a few missions and played loads of it. Lots of fun but for some reason when I start the mission I'm just floating over the ocean.  I tried changing camera view to no availability.  Where did I go wrong?

You know what? I may have totally forgotten that. I should have known better. I will double check tomorrow and report back. Lol ty

I failed to set ripper 1 as player lmao silly me. Thank youu.
