nic464 Posted June 30, 2014 Posted June 30, 2014 Hi, I just bought il2 BOS and I am looking for a controller profile for a x52pro. Something to start with and modifiate to my liking after ! Hope someone can help me Nic
VBF-12_Snake9 Posted June 30, 2014 Posted June 30, 2014 Seeing how BOS controls don't really like combination buttons, it's just as easy to set everything up in game. Just a few biggys in my opinion. Head Zoom placed on the throttle slider. Stabilizer on the throttle thumb rotary. ( elevator trim here also if added by game) First stage trigger, fire machine guns. Second stage trigger will have to be mapped to a keystoke in SST (mine is space bar) set up for fire all guns Gear, tail wheel lock, chocks, tail hook (for other games) on the six toggle switches below stick. Flaps up and down on throttle hat Those are the main things I can think of, and everyone likes it a little different. All engine controls are on my other axis box. Good luck find what you like.

I was actually able to map the second stage trigger on my X52 Pro without using the SST software. Just before opening the mapping menu, I pulled the trigger until I heard the first "click", opened the menu to map the button, then pulled the trigger all the way in to map it to "Fire only cannons". 1
SeriousFox Posted July 1, 2014 Posted July 1, 2014 Little tip for throttle key setting. Use throttle hat for flap up/down and elevator trim(stabilizer) up/down Throttle slider for Mixture Throttle rotary(small one) for prop pitch Pinky switch for boost(La-5) Throttle E button for Supercharger Stage toggle And for last I mapped button under the MFD(right one) as reset trim. Hope this helps.
