How to join none Steam dedicated servers.

Hi all,

Having only recently got back into the game, and not flown on line for a long time, I would like to know how does one join a dedicated TS server, or any other server for that matter that does not appear on the Steam server list ? I know this is probably an easy answer coming my way, but I just can't work it out.

Steam server list? Don't think there is such a thing?

Hi, thanks for your reply. At the moment if I launch IL-2 BoS, I can join servers directly via the multiplayer icon, but I want to know are there any other servers not connected to Steam, or are they all linked. A friend has asked me to join a server but it is not on the Steam server, I can't ask him about it as he is away for a few months.

There is not such thing like servers only for steam users and servers only for non-steam users, everyone can play together and eveyone see same server list when he select mulltiplayer and dogfight or cooperative.

 

If you turn on mod, then you can see only servers that also have mods turned on, but again it same for steam and non-steam users.

 

regarding ts3/discort and so on... there is no "one voice service for all" every server usealy have its own adress for it, so you just look for info on server forum about it.

 

If you dont see server your frend toed you about, maybe its mods on server and you need turn on mods, or server is not active 24/7 so its offline.
