--[---MAILMAN---- Posted September 5, 2021 Posted September 5, 2021 (edited) Looking at at the exterior views I did not see the rear view mirror inside of the cockpit above the gunsight reflector glass. If it is just omitted from the external view I understand. If you didn't know it had one inside the cockpit below are the references that show this interior rear view mirror. I have both manuals including photographs/renderings of the instrument panels which differ from the P-51D instrument panel. --[---MAILMAN---- Posted September 5, 2021 Author Posted September 5, 2021 Thanks for the reply. Read that it is still a work in progress. I would have been disappointed in myself if it was omitted and I hadn't said anything. Just like the Mk. 14 lead computing gunsight in the P-51D-15 should have a sun shade just like the P-47D-28 when using the Mk. 14 lead computing gunsight. I have a photograph in the P-51D/K manual that shows and names the knob for operating the shade.
