FC2 - Not Sure

Hello everyone

 

I already own FC1 and am thinking about buying FC2 but its not cheap and am happy to buy it but would like to know what it will add at the moment. I see there are various aircraft and a new map but am not sure if this is implemented yet.

 

Can anyone advise please as to what in game assets are already there?

 

If there is not much I may just wait until its more developed but if there is enough new content I am happy to dive in ?

I think it's worth buying, you can always use new planes (they released one by one in early access) in current multiplayer missions and in campaigns - PWCG.

No new map yet. But if you enjoy the new planes AND like to supporting the company, it's a great buy

So far there is the Airco DH4, Nieuport 28, SPAD 7, Pfalz D12 and Fokker D8.

I decided to buy FC2 and thought 'what the hell' and bought Normandy too to complete my collection ?

Now or later? Might as well enjoy the newer stuff as it is released  instead of buying next year at the same price.?

IIRC, FC1 became included in sales as soon as its content was completed.

Sopwith Tripe - along with 150hp Spad, Pfalz, Albatros, Cl.II and Bristol F.II it will be enough for a 1917 map.

The DH.4 is a wild plane. Im rebuilding my PC in a week or so, and am hoping Rock Wilson's had the time to get it included in his campaign generator. 

 

If he has, I'll create a new campaign with it and livestream the whole thing

I just bought FCII but nothing seems to have installed.  
Only seeing BOB planes and WWII maps.   No WWI planes or maps.  How do I install it?

FC2 is pre release. Need FC 1 for available content. Try Quick mission in Bodenplatte and see if you can access planes from there.

 

Fortunately my sugar daddy (Baeumer) got me my copy.

Plank told me that the Spad 150 could hang with the Me262.

No installation required. Everything should be there. And you do not need FC1 either.

 

It's just that FC2 is in early access at the moment. The map is not released yet. But some of the aircraft are. But as Klugermann says you should be able to use those aircraft on the Bodenplatte map in Quick Battles mode.

 

Can also use them on any MP server (for example the Flugpark) that has them included in their missions. Even though they use FC1 maps at the moment that's alright. Because owning the map is not a requirement for usage on an MP server. Just SP that you need to own the map to use them.
