Reverb G2 / 3060TI OC

greetings , sinds a week I use a 3060 TI , first I had a 1070 8b GTX  so you expect a big improvement , at first It looks I still had the old card in my PC , than it turned out that the overclock in my bios (UMP) was the reason , turned that off and bam my card was working in all his glory . 

 

than I saw something strange the higher I but my steam settings the better (higher fps) it was running , till a certain degree , I am doing now 140% supper sampling and I runs a steady 40 fps . 

 

Still not 100 % happy I have a few problems , clouds in de distance are distorted , like small moving waves , and a few days ago my head  moving outside the plane , it doesn't stop by the window , sometimes it does sometimes not . 

 

And 1 other thing , what's with the colored explosions (WW1)on the ground its very colorful but to bright if you ask me , also when I hit a plane I see a dusk cloud that's almost brown orange and to bright . 

 

I was out of this game fore a few month's so I guess the new update were doing to trick . 

also seems I getting a little more dizzy than before it seems .

 

I guess I am gone read more into this forum fore solutions 

 

its hard to believe that this system runs on 140 SS with AA on 2 clouds and shadows on ultra . 

 

If there are some people with some nice tips I would me a happy simmer haha

Regarding orange cloud explosions this happens predictably to me with multi sampling/super sampling enabled in NCP

I see its to much if you ask me , over the front it looks like they trowing mosterdgas over a few km continu ?

I check it out in the morning this dutchman needed some sleep haha

It works , no strange colours anymore 140 SS AA 4x and a decent 55 fps , shadows and clouds on medium , gras low .

 

The rest on highest settings . 

 

1 problem remains , i can put my head true the glass of the canopy .

 

Is that a setting i can change ingame ore in steam VR , it ocured this week , no clue how to fix it .

There is a setting in graphics or camera (don’t recall which) that restricts head movement to stay within the canopy.

I think its changed with a updated everyting is fine now , 120% supersampling  , 4× AA and most settings max 

 

Get a decent 60 fps and it looks amazing .

 

3060TI OC will do the job , 3070 and above is to high price and my pc system is also 4 years old so i dont think een high end card will makes it even better . 

 

When you see the cockpit now you blown away . 

 

Cold winter here we come haha
