To the moderator, please don't merge this post, I'm hoping to do a series of films under the Red Star White Eagle banner, thx. If you want to merge a previous post under this to save space, that's OK.

 

This film documents the Russian invasion from mission 2 of the very first campaign, so get some popcorn and grab a drink.

 

For those that weren't there, it shows us protecting our supply trains, fighting for ariel dominance in the NE of the map, capturing Velki Luki airfield, destroying the Polish train, fighting off the Poles attempt to recapture Bulynino airfield, and finally capturing the city.

 

Soundtrack is by the Red Army Choir.

 

It may be that ppl in Poland can't view this film due to copyright issues, if that is the case, let me know by PM.

This film is from the Polish sides's view, attacking motorized columns, defending trains, the town hall and airfields. It was hard work!

A great set of videos, I like how the actual history, a film and in game aircraft are all combined to make a historical piece on something most of us know nothing or very little about, thank you very much, really appreciated.

 

Those AA trucks are particularly deadly against the early aircraft, maybe the team will one day make something more in keeping with WWI for us to drive around the battlefield.

Thx for making a comment, I was a bit worried how ppl would react to them, but it's all been positive so far.

 

We are planning on another Polish Soviet war (different map) in October/November and Eeafanas has been helping me with a potential Russian soundtrack for that.

 

Yes I'd like to see some usable aa from WW1, flaming onions et al!

Have you seen what the 20mm Becker does to a plane? It seems roughly equivalent to me, having been force-fed 20mm's by Loppnow and Ragnutz a bunch of times. My biggest complaint is the gunner AI that shoots through trees and clouds, but that holds true for any AA gunner AI. I'm looking forward to doing this type of scenario again!
