Luger1969 Posted August 23, 2021 Posted August 23, 2021 Extremely nice one. Very important 109. Thanks Flow. I have often wondered abt that O painted on. Could it be for Oljenik? to mark the aircraft... Btw the last picture is superb.... 1
SR603-Flowbee Posted August 23, 2021 Author Posted August 23, 2021 In the light of this original photo that I was made aware of, I made some minor changes to reflect the additional info.Namely darker and more numerous spots in the mottle and a darker area behind the cockpit. I also made a couple of other tweaks such as removing the exhaust shield paint (does it have a name?) that I can't see in the photo and a glitch in the alpha. So here is an alternative and updated version. I'm also wondering whether the O is nothing more than a spill or a grainy illusion as it is very diffuse. I deliberately removed the white section on the prop spinner because of the weird effect it gave when spinning. It was impossible to look at. Luger1969 Posted August 23, 2021 Posted August 23, 2021 Top notch....love the mottling. The aircraft is captured just right in my opinion. 1
