Driver's View in Tiger is Pointing Straight Down

Just got around to learning tank crew and am having a problem with the driver's view in the Tiger. When I spawn in, I'm placed into the driver's position and the view is pointing straight down at the floor. When I press F12 to reset my TrackIR view, it does nothing. I'm only having this issue (so far) in the Tiger. The other tanks are fine. I can "glance" up at the view port but it's only momentary. Not having this issue with any of the other crew positions. I've searched here and Google for an answer but am not finding anyone else reporting this, so it's probably ignorance on my part.

Hi @Su-27_dot_Com Have you tried "Nestle to Visor" default left shift+V ?

 

Is your track IR centre correct. If you are in trackIR and hit the key does it centre your view when using the trackir graphic?

Could you have double mapped the key?

F12 in game is default for free view - did you clear that mapping if F12 is your trackir view?

Solved. I had, at some point, hit the F10 key while in the driver's position in the Tiger. This apparently saves a new default view wherever you're looking when you hit the key. Nestle to Visor, which I wasn't aware of, allowed me to then reset with another press of the F10. All good now.

did you try using the mouse?  When I spawn in my driver is looking back at some ammo racks but I just use the mouse to orient to the visor.  The I promptly close all visors.  Your crew lives longer that way.  At least in multiplayer.

Yeah, when I'd use the mouse to turn, it would, but it wouldn't stay there. I solved the issue - it was with the F10 key.
