RISE Posted August 21, 2021 Posted August 21, 2021 (edited) Hi everyone, I wanted to share a personal skin inspired by the 352nd that I created for my 328th FS BOP Campaign - this is my first skin in IL-2. Uploaded on HSD and currently waiting for it to be approved. Enjoy!https://www.dropbox.com/s/fy7ciarwaqisg67/352nd_HellonHeels_328thFS.zip?dl=0 Edited August 21, 2021 by RISE 7 1

Hoss Posted August 21, 2021 Posted August 21, 2021 Yes Sir........... I hate to say this........ but here goes, are you going to wait for the B/C To be released, do a few skins for those and then release it? I've played some community made missions where both 47 models were flying together and it looked magnificent. If you need someone to help test and troubleshoot your missions, you have my number..... LOL. I'm retired, so would love to help out Cheers Hoss 352ndVFG PE-H

I'm new on the forums(community) here, and just finished flying the jug for several hundred hours in my BOBP realistic, runaway takeoffs, per day career (it's taken me months going out 1-2 missions every other day or so) - I just transferred to the 328th. I had created my own personal skin for my own campaign and never realized the skinning community here. With that said, I absolutely would be happy to create some skins for the B/C and 47 variants. The FG has grown on me as I read more about it and i'd be happy to stencil your name on your plane. The razorbacks would be a fine addition, they'd complement the 47D22 very well Thanks!
Hoss Posted August 21, 2021 Posted August 21, 2021 (edited) Yes, hopefully it will be the next plane released.....B/C........... secretly I'm wanting the Mosquito... but yeah I think it will be the next.... it would make for some great screen shots, B/C, and D's all in the same formation. You can still build your mission and test it with D's as some placeholders, wait for the B/C, make some skins and release it. That's just me, keep to your agenda and do what you had planned, LOL, but make sure one of those is PE-H... In the 352ndVFG we have our personal skins, and Raptor has graciously made some for me that I use on squad nights. Cheers Hoss Edited August 21, 2021 by 352nd_Hoss

Cheers Hoss I agree, well I definitely plan on it then! Ahh the wooden wonder. Ever seen footage of the RAF attacking a merchant convoy in a Norwegian fjord? Some of the best footage i've ever seen. Absolutely amazing that they're basically balsa planes zipping around. 34 RAF Mosquitos of Coastal Command dive in at a 45° angle from 5,000' to attack German merchant shipping with machine gun, cannon and rocket fire in a Norwegian fjord in 1944 (imgur.com)
