Would anyone buy a supply truck as a collector vehicle? (Here me out.)

I bought the AAA truck collector vehicle a couple of weeks ago(well worth it), and have been having the time of my life driving around in it. Being in the Cab and driving in VR, dodging 110's, Jabo's and Stukas prowling around on the Finnish server is something to behold.

 

I also like jumping in the JU-52 as a supply runner. This got me thinking, how many would be interested in something like the Opel Blitz Supply truck(German), or lend leased Studebaker as a collector vehicle.  Much like how the JU-52 and soon to be C-47 work on the Finns server, supply trucks could function as a way to resupply the front lines in missions. Convoys could be formed and protected by the new AA trucks to resupply tank depots, "Front line troops" and airbases. It would be like WW2 European truck Simulator?.

 

I don't know how much interest the community would have in something like this, but the combined arms aspect of it would be great. Imagine having fighter cover overhead, rolling down the road third in line in your Studebaker playing "Red Ball Express" and dodging stukas on your way to the front to make sure that the boys at the front have their Dinner, Whiskey and Cigarettes, Just a thought and maybe a dream.

 

What are your thoughts?

I think they should build the Gustov Rail gun........... make it multi-crew and let us set way back on the map and blow the snot out of stuff.............. I'd buy that!....... just to hear the chatter on text from the opposite team.

With respect to Ponder, (forgive the hijacking) No I would not buy a single vehicle................. but like DCS I would buy a "Collectors package" of playable/driveable WWII Assets for IL2GB.  I don't play TC much or get in vehicles in game on MP servers, except ours.  But I would support 1C to keep "all" content coming.

I would totally be down to drive a supply truck but don't know how it could be used without having to drive a couple hours ?
