As for someones bollox about it being relegated to anti shipping - it was planned for anti sub warfare use. Did it pretty successfully in the Bay of Biscay from late Oct43 as well and it seems from Des Curtis comments that it was pretty accurate - especially considering your doing it under very heavy flak ha ha your edit by passed me Naaahhhh, they just took the PX bought chewin wax they were gnawin on, and plastered it on the windscreen where they figured wind and elevation would take the round.... ssssshhhhh that's proprietary information and secret.... could be removed easily if shot down or on return to base... Hoss............................... sshhhhhhh ?
Goanna1 Posted August 23, 2021 Posted August 23, 2021 But Serously with DCS bringing out their version of the mosquito, and using 'touch screen switch activation' I am waiting and wondering which version will be better I'm glad that we will have a choice to use this aircraft over both formats and platforms. 27 minutes ago, Goanna1 said: But Serously with DCS bringing out their version of the mosquito, and using 'touch screen switch activation' I am waiting and wondering which version will be better I'm glad that we will have a choice to use this aircraft over both formats and platforms.

I'm secretly waiting for the 410 though,i know its gonna be awhile but thats my boy right there, when i get a new airplane i love to sit there while its parked and just play with all the buttons and throttle levers, canopy, radiators etc then i take it for a quick spin and check out the guns, how it flies and then i land it and thats it, tested and approved (or not)!! lol 1

BubiHUN Posted August 24, 2021 Posted August 24, 2021 Bf-109 F-4s standard stabilizer is now set to 77. Is this intentional?

I was there a few years ago and had a go on the Mosquito simulator you mention, I think I was attacking ships though. (Maybe several mission choices?). With VR and jet pad and/or base shakers, the experience is now even better on my home setup than at the museum. We live at a time when flight-simming has never been so amazing. I can’t wait to feel the thudding of the cannon with the jetpad and bass shaker!! Well to be fair I was there last like 25 years ago so I imagine they probably updated it, the graphics were pretty basic back then as you could imagine. Yes, I also have a nice cockpit with bass shakers, it's gonna be great! ?
JLean Posted August 25, 2021 Posted August 25, 2021 Those pics looks fabulous. Thanks team! Mossie has a special place in my heart. I grew up having attached poster above my bed....and it was at the time when you could not google pics from your favorite planes. (Ok it was MK IV not MK VI...but anyway.) JLean 6
