Rift S Help / Suggestions

I've been using the Rift S for a couple months now and while enjoying the jump from TrackIR to VR, I've been finding myself constantly trying to tweak to get the best clarity and performance possible (as any person would).  I've had some success researching the forums and taking bits and pieces out of different topics within the category, but I don't feel like I quite have it tuned it to where its best based off how others with the same headset and relatively similar systems describe there clarity and performance.  I would have to say my biggest issue is ID'ing (which I know is completely normal) along with not being able to track or spot anything once it hits the deck or is below me.  It almost feels as if it disappears even if its right in front of my face and I can't reacquire or see it for the life of me, while my teammates / wingmen are able to see it and have to talk me back on to it.

My PC Specs are:

i5-8600k

2070 Super
32GB RAM

Below are my current settings:

Shadows I am in the process of testing which works best for me to help spot targets against the ground, its currently on off. I am running Open Composite and Oculus Tray Tool with a SS of 1.4.  Additionally the only thing I've really done within NVIDIA CP is turn on Maximum Performance, and my VR Pre-rendered frames to 4. Also, I do have bloom disabled within the startup.cfg since I'm running HDR.

Appreciate any suggestions or feedback!

For one, I would drop the super sampling to 1.2/1.3 and turn asw off. Steam motion smoothing for wmr headsets is much better than the oculus asw software. I would use the oculus anti aliasing filter. You do have maximum vr zoom mapped, right? That made all the difference for me with the rift s when I used it. Your settings look pretty good overall but I'd recommend setting dynamic resolution to .9 and running open composite over steamvr for a performance boost. I would also bump up the Fxaa to x4.

I already use OC, and ASW is off.  What is oculus anti aliasing filter?

I'm using Bloom on , and it works amazing ( i can see how bloom , HDR and SSAO makes some kind of spectre arround the contacts, its hard to describe, try it first ON , and tell us if you see the diference.
