I know there was a thread a while back on the best X570 motherboards for Il-2 performance, but cannot seem to find it.

Does anyone know where a link to it is again? Trying to figure out which ones support very large memory capacities without punking Il-2's performance.

Thank you,

IL2 specific motherboard?

I have the MEG X-570 Unify and very happy with it...meaning no issues. 32GB RAM

Run DCS mostly now.

My Gigabyte Aorus X570 Master is solid, with strong power delivery, but next time I'll go Asus again. I'm getting tired of the Gigabyte software. Their hardware is pretty good, but their software is not at the same quality level.

I have an Asus x470 pro that is what, 3.5 years old now? Asus constantly puts out BIOS updates for it still. They've done so whenever new Ryzen CPUs are released, when resize bar was implemented, and just released a new BIOS a few days ago for Windows 11. That's the kind of support that will get me to buy Asus again in the future.

Interesting. What I ran into was the Gigabyte X579 Auorus Pro WiFi uses a daisy chain memory topology, and with the Zen 3 compatible bios, they seem to have broken 64 GB DDR4 3600 support.
