Where is the pilot card?

I am absolutely new to this game and following step-by-step with the "IL-2:BOS User Manual" here

 

And I don't see how I can get to the pilot card. My main menu looks like this:

 

Did I miss something setting the game up? Thanks.

Also. How do you show different aircraft in the hangar?

That's an old feature no longer in the game.

Loading a mission in the Quick Mission builder is the quickest way to do that.
