What game/sim are you trying to get it to work with?Did you install the drivers before plugging the throttle? I use the regular X52 throttle as stand alone controller and have no problems with it.

   Any ideas?

I ask again, did you install the correct drivers before pluggin it in? Also where is is not working properly, in the sim or in control panel? Go to control panel and then to controllers and check if all the axes are being picked up correctly.If they are then is just a matter of mapping the axes on the sim.

  I installed the drivers, the axes are being picked up as all of the buttons, but can?

Go to the HOTAS part of the control set up and move the throttle. Simples. If in game it works the wrong way round then reset it in the Hotas section again but change it to negative or positive.

you need to go to the hotas section like dd_crash said and find which axis is the proper one for what you need "trail and error m8"
