Iceni_Queen Posted August 13, 2021 Posted August 13, 2021 Hi All My cockpit has me shifted all the way to the right, the gun sight cannot even be used or looked through. How can I reset it? Tried 5 key, and other number pads. Looked in the key mapping, tried to reset to default, but nothing is working Even with my eye tracker I cannot get it centered. It was at one point, then got off and will not go back Thanks
=621=Samikatz Posted August 13, 2021 Posted August 13, 2021 If your headtracker is turned off, does it still drift around? It's possible that you have something double-bound to one of the head position keys, as some controls were changed with this patch
AEthelraedUnraed Posted August 13, 2021 Posted August 13, 2021 Move your head to the position you want to set as default, and press F10
Iceni_Queen Posted August 13, 2021 Author Posted August 13, 2021 It is still to the right. Kind of got it to work by buttons then F10, but it seems like it is low and to the right now Tried more and now it is off to the left, cannot center
istari6 Posted August 13, 2021 Posted August 13, 2021 I've had this problem as well in VR. It's plane specific. Each plane needs to have your proper head orientation set with F10. Sometimes it's correct from the beginning, but other planes I've had to manually reset. I've even taken off my VR headset and moved it around the space until it's very close, then hit F10 to save. Once you have F10 set properly, recenter view will also return you to that position.

So (I'm assuming you're using some kind of head tracker or VR set): - Move your head to where you want it to be inside the cockpit. - Press F10 while keeping your head there. - Return your head to its normal, comfortable position. You'll notice the viewpoint changes along with it. - Press numpad 5 to recenter. So, in short, F10 (re)sets the default position of your virtual in-game head, while numpad 5 (re)sets the default position of your real-life head. Let us know if this helps you!
