Hello,

I just logged into BoS after about 6 weeks of not playing, so I got a huge update.  When in-game my mouse floats around to the point I can hardly use it.  The cursor drifts like a boat and I have to wait to see where its going to land after moving my mouse a little bit, and then adjust back and forth until I get on a menu item.  It is like it is delayed instead of the cursor moving instantly as I move my mouse.  It gives me this slow sloppy drift movement on screen.

Thanks for the help (mouse works fine everywhere else including this BBS).

S!

Are you running full screen or windowed? Check the Graphics settings for BoS, might help.

Thanks for the reply, Flanker.

I've tried Full Screen and Windowed, and everything from Ultra to Low Res graphics (restarting the game with each change).  My mouse cursor floats around the same in all cases.  When the launcher screen comes up (where you select "Play") my mouse is fine, but on the next screen where you type in your email address and password is starts doing it and then in-game also.  It is really bad.  I can count one thousand one, one thousand two before my mouse cursor stops moving after I stop moving my mouse.  Almost impossible to land the cursor on a menu item.  Back and forth, back and forth until you finally get it right.  Need some help on this one...something is really wrong as I didn't have this problem with BoS prior to logging in today for the first time in about 6 weeks.

Also rebooted my computer but no change.  Mouse works fine on desktop and in other games, MS Word, Excel, etc.

Does alt-tabbing out of the application and back help?

What type of mouse is it? Does it use any profiling software to set DPI or refresh rates per application?

I have the same problem. When I turned off full screen it improved along with the overall performance of the game. I guess it is just a matter of insufficient hardware performance....

having the same issue here. I do have a Razer Deathadder 3500dpi mouse and there is some applet installed to control it.  I have not played with the settings of that but the mouse is really badly jogging in the menu screens. the system is pretty quick - I7-4770K 3.5Ghz CPU with 16GB or RAM and GTX275 graphics, Win7 x64

I noticed vsync give an extraordinary amount of lag and frame rate drop in this title.

I have the same problem, game plays file, smooth etc, but mouse in the menus is horrible: dancing over the screen.

did manage to get over my issue, maybe things were not well optimised for the GTX275.  Dropped a GTX580 in there a few days ago, and the mouse now smooth. Dont worry I didnt shell out just to solve the mouse issue- I just upgraded to one of these 4K monitors and the GTX275 would have been severely struggling :)

the GTX275 is not THAT bad a gfx card btw, its been gaming 1600x1050 in 3D happily with most games, but IL-2 menu/mouse and the GTX275 really didnt get on at all.
