Turret locks out of nowwhere, how to unlock it?

Yes, new\old guy in TC, trying a campaign mission and out of nowhere the Turret locked, which kind of takes the fun out of fighting. It may have been when I popped into the driver's seat to re-position and came back, not sure.. See nothing about unlocking turret in KB bindings..

keypad "t" or "y", no?

"T" was "Gun Take \ Leave Control" on one list I have and is "Cannon Free \ Secure" on one that was posted today so I will give that a go, thank you. "Y" I do not see on any KB list?
