Reggie_Mental Posted July 31, 2021 Posted July 31, 2021 I know it was historically insignificant, but I would love to have this as a collector plane. Given the few well preserved examples worldwide, there is plenty to research. It would also be the first jet in the game to have an ejection seat. That would be cool. Is anybody else wanting such a plane? 4

If there would ever be ressources for creating a 1946 module, then hell yes! SWOTL was back then one of the best games around. Especially the campaign and its strategic elements were great. PatrickAWlson Posted August 23, 2021 Posted August 23, 2021 Similar to the Ta152 thread ... not really. If we are talking collector planes, I would much rather see a focus on planes that flew more. Late war Russian, more medium bombers, Ju87B, etc. For full modules, Battle of France is my favorite, BoB reboot, Italy, Bagration, etc. Just not really interested in planes that really were not used that much. 6

Agreed. Before we see that plane there still are so many gaps to fill. Henschel Hs-123, Ju-87 B/R and I-153 for BoM and BoS to begin with. However that Strategic/Operational Career mode of SWOTL is something I really would love to see again within todays sims.

But we are getting an Arado 234...

migmadmarine Posted August 24, 2021 Posted August 24, 2021 Love the volksjäger, think it would be super cool to have, but yea, it is super low on the priorities list

On Google Earth, there used to be a timeline option that goes back to the 1920s when aerial surveys begun. It used some captured images of LW recconnaissance missions, done by Ar234s. I have seen images taken from high altitude of Caterham Barracks. I used to live just North of the barracks, and yes... You can see my (former) house, built in 1939 from in those images! CUJO_1970 Posted August 25, 2021 Posted August 25, 2021 Would love to see this aircraft in the sim, would be a blast to fly.
Noisemaker Posted August 25, 2021 Posted August 25, 2021 There's a relatively intact example they can use for the model, too! 2
