We are really happy with progress to date. We recently also shared some photos of the reworked Spitfire cockpit, with new 3D components, which will give VR users a better visual experience when the big VR update arrives. Here is the WIP (images 1 and 2)of the right side of the Spitfire cockpit. With many of the existing aircraft already having 3D cockpits, much of this work towards VR implementation is complete. Aircraft Code Improvements All RAF and Luftwaffe aircraft codes have been corrected, revised and improved. Whilst many players may not have noticed inaccuracies, we had, and these will be fixed in a soon to be released update. Our sound engineer is currently working on a number of areas in the game to bring to the community an improved audio experience. Keep a look out for more updates in this area, as we will include updates as they are completed. If you missed it, here is the YouTube video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jM473ExOgx0 Single Player News A new single player RAF Spitfire 10 mission campaign, is currently in development. This will be released as a free update for all owners of Cliffs of Dover Blitz once it’s complete. The campaign will follow No. 610 SQN as it faces the first week of the Luftwaffe offensive against Kent, with most missions based on actual dogfights and raids. Check out the action in our latest video release, promoting this exciting new campaign https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hZbXNULi9ZY trueSKY and 4K Graphics Update Work is coming along very nicely on the future implementation of trueSKY, 4K landscapes, and 4k aircraft externals. We will be releasing WIP images very soon. We hope everyone is staying safe in these times, and look forward to seeing you in the Cliffs of Dover Blitz and Desert Wings Tobruk Skies, Regards, TFS Team 18 3 5
343KKT_Kintaro Posted July 29, 2021 Posted July 29, 2021 Thanks a bunch you TFS, please keep moving forward. Two questions on the "Slow Running Cut-Out" ring: Question 1: I see the ring is now 3D-modelled... will it be animated when we'll use it? In other words: do we'll see the ring being pulled backwards when we'll use it? Question 2: will it be clickable?
RAAF492SQNOz_Steve Posted July 29, 2021 Posted July 29, 2021 (edited) Thanks for the VR update! Any feedback on when a VR beta test version will be available? Edited July 29, 2021 by RAAF492SQNOz_Steve 1
Buffo002 Posted July 29, 2021 Posted July 29, 2021 Excellent job, I'm looking forward to the changes. I'm mainly looking forward to the modified sounds and then trueSKY and 4K Graphics Update. I want to ask if in the future there will be offline campaigns, statistics, number of kills, types of shot down aircraft, number of destroyed targets, above the selected aircraft in the campaign full name of the aircraft type, weapon settings, etc. (loading for each individual campaign) 1 1

Avimimus Posted July 30, 2021 Posted July 30, 2021 Looking forward to seeing the landscape and weather WIP images... no rush though! I'm also wondering if the Hispano and Browning sounds will be reworked (but I believe I mentioned that earlier anyway). It is nice to see the ongoing progress and I hope everything goes smoothly!
